SD is a great town. I will feel sorry for them on Monday am.;) (I hope). There are many reasons to love SD, especially the fishing.

The globe site had the pic below in the "things you don't know about SD" bit.

The picture is of SD harbor and shows a pier that produces bonito year round. If you went there this morning, you would have had a good shot at getting a bonito. One year I decided to go year round, and thanks to that pier and Redondo Harbor, it was relatively easy.

Nice city and a good team but, not a chance they can take the PatriotsThey were here and healthy in September and could only score 6 points.

It was just a line from the movie. Like the fact that San Diego was founded by Germans.

They have the best place on the planet to live, we should at least get a shot at the superbowl as a consolation prize.

Yeah, but who would have thought the Chargers would beat Indy twice in a row in the same season. Yikes!

A nice city. It's unfortunate that Phillip Rivers (pictured below) resides there.

SK...you meant to say.. ..Phillip "Ryan Leaf" cry me a River?

You didn't happen to read Bruschi's book, did you? I according to him, Rivers was yappin all game and Vrabel had to take it upon himself to shut Leaf up.

"You'll never be Drew Brees. We know it, and everyone in that huddle knows it." Why AJ Smith ever let Brees go is beyond me...

But, in the mold of St. Dungy, he never swears because it's bad to swear. As everyone knows, being a good person is all about not cursing. The hypocracy on this one is off the charts.

I think I might need to read that one...leave it to bruschi to let 'em have it...I havent seen a QB meltdown like river's in quite some while....to top if off if he kept quiet (just shut up) they would be applauding his last game....nice one BTY about St. Dungy ;)

This is all very funny, but I hope we're not setting someone else up to have the last laugh.

The best part of this whole thing is that he doesn't realize that he sucks. He talks like he's Tom "I've turned 95% of New England Men Gay" Brady. He plays like Carson Kressley.

And Frostie, no worries dude. That team flat out sucks. They are tallented as hell but can't ball. They have no mental toughness and are over-emotional.

SK--he does look a bit like you, in your pic he even has the same expression that you get when a tuna eats your popper.;)

Steepster, I think you got it wrong--I'm on the Pats bandwagon. Guys in SD have better things to do than to play football through February. If they start their vacation sunday night, they can be at the Wild Animal Park by noon monday.
