I just saw this on another boating website. Hard to believe its allowed.:mad: I have five seasons as a fly fisherman under my belt and have yet to see fish that big on the end of my line.--124-3

North Carolina - leading the way in inshore gill netting --127-3-
If you think that is bad, you should be down there just about any day the commercial netters are culling the nets: there are hundreds of trout/redfish/etc that just get tossed back dead, all so they can catch a few "spot".
While this beach thing may only be a three day event, the commercial gill netters down there wreak havoc on the fisheries all the time. "Catch it while you can" seems to be their motto.
