This afternoon we worked our way deep into the woods on one of our local river systems. It was just after low tide so the kayaks were scraping bottom from time to time. The bird life around here at this time of year is impressive. I think we saw 4 or 5 different kinds of Herrons alone. We caught some nice reds and found some small Snook in very shallow water in the back of the river. It was a in the back of the river that we started to see tons of Stone Crabs on the bottom. I found one large and one small crab hooked together and just had to try to get a shot of these beautiful crabs.
