Fishing license

Do you need a license to fish the salt water in FL? I will be in the Tampa area, if I need one, are they easy to pick up?

Yes you do, and they aren't cheap for a non-resident. You can get them with a phone call to Bass Pro (of course Bass Pro will add it's # of flesh).

You can also purchase one online and just write down the number. A few years ago, down in Sanibel, a Fish & Game Warden asked me for my license and I produced the license number and that was sufficient.
