Just got back from 6 days skiing in Utah (someone had to do it). I was surprised to see quite a few fishing the Provo; next time I'll have to throw a rod case in my ski bag.

The middle Provo is great fishing just west of Heber City/east of Park City. There is also a lot of great fishing further east on rt 40. Try the Trout Bum II in Park City for recommendations. I am envious.

2 years ago I had a great trip with a guide in January on the Provo and this year I went in February on the Colorado both during my family's ski vacation. It makes for a great change up from skiing in the middle of the week. Both guides provided all of the equipment so all I needed was lots of warm clothes (which I had for skiing anyway) and the kids were taken care of in ski school ;)
