Massapoag Lake

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with Massapoag Lake in Sharon. I saw someone casting a fly the other day. I live right up the street and I'm unaware if it holds any potential. (#$119)

Tried there once in a canoe about 7 years ago. Lots of Lgmouth bass (Pretty decent ones at that) , some rainbow trout and lots of horned pout. Best spot was towards the end of the lake where there was a stream or some overlfow running into the pond. I think it was on the beach side up about 200 yrds.

It gets a pretty heavy stocking of trout. Used to launch at the ramp and park in the highschool across the street. I don't think anything hold over there but you never know .
