I just moved to the area from Colorado. Fly Fishing is a whole lot different out here from what I understand. Where would be some good spots close to the Boston area. i would love to hook into some bass or pan fish. don't get the chance as much in Denver. Thank for the help.

almost any pond will do for bass and panfish, there are trout stocked in jamaica pond in boston. this is the mass wildlife page (http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/recreation/fishing/trout/trout_stocking_schedule.htm)

browse around and it should give you some ideas. there are pond maps etc.

There are good places to fly fish in the boston area. Most of the areas that I frequent are south of boston towards the cape. If interested send a PM.

In addition to the ponds, there are a number of rivers that fish quite well, and some are wadeable. There is no shortage of fishing in this area, even if it is different.

Boston, A River Runs Through It.

And that river has some of the best fishing in MA!--127-3-

There are also plenty of genuine trout streams 1-3 hours away.
