The bass have been hot lately. The past few days i have been fishing crocker pond in west falmouth and i have benn coming out with 10-20 fish each time. i caught a 3 pounder today. It wasnt a very long bass but it had a BIG GUT!--125-3

I agree ... Bass fishing is good and the weeds are down.
The pickerel too ... I find them all tight to the shore ... I assume spawning time.
I took a couple kayak trips with a buddy over the weekend.
Love this nice weather pattern we're in.

Thanks guys ... kayaks are great for getting to those hidden ponds with little access. Lots of bird life as well ... saw a wood duck Sunday afternoon. Only second time in my life.
I don't carry anything to measure\weight the bass. I'm guessing they were about 6-7lb. Nice fish for these parts for sure. Amazing to see them surface and suck in that worm .. the big ones always jump too for added thrill.
I'm sneaking out tonight to another lil pond I have never been too. Found an access spot on last night's motorcycle ride. Spring is finally here! --127-3-
