Bedford - Shawsheen River

Moved from Shrewsbury to Bedford in September. I am now farther from my belowed Quinnie but on a positive note I have new water to discover. I checked some spots over the winter to see were I could catch a trout close to home on my weight #3. Found out that the Shawsheen river (Bedford) portion is stocked with trout. Checked all the bridges from Bridge Street all the way to Billerica. It's either urban, posted or there is no parking. Looks like there are some good wading opportunities in the northern Bedford part. Without giving up any secret holes do you guys have any pointers?

Go to Google Maps, select the aerial photo rather than map view, and look at all those parking lots in the office and industrial parks that back up to the river in the vicinity of Middlesex Turnpike.

I've never tried to fish there myself, and I don't know whether/where it's fenced or posted, but if you're looking for parking near the river, those aerial photos are a big help.
