Swift River Info

Thinking about hitting the Swift this coming Saturday and was interested if anyone out there has fished it recently. I heard that the water levels were down for this time of year.

Has anyone had any luck with the action there lately?

Which Swift, Belchertown or Petersham? I've been driving past the Swift in Petersham for several days now while trout fishing, and the water "was" low until yesterday. Now, all those rivers are loaded with water. Apparently they were loaded with fish as well, since they were stocked last Thursday.

Thanks for the info. I had the Belchertown location in mind, but perhaps I'll try Petersham. Good to know that the levels are back up and that it was stocked so recently. It sounds like it will be worth the trip.
