So much for sitting on the bench (#$119) ... when the winds lays down I love to get out on the water...and my buddy was up for it Sunday afternoon. Found another hidden pond ... a real beauty that we'll visit again on a sunny day. Shoulder was hurtin afterwards, but ok today.
We also found the barbless thing was great. So easy to release the fish.
Dremel tool makes that easy.
Few pics.

Big ole Snappa under the boat ... too bad my lil camera does not have polarized lense ... doesn't do it justice. Nice being outside again.

It was this past Saturday on a lake on the Cape. We had 22 fisherman in the tournement. Only 7 came back with fish at the end of the day. The bass were there but no one could get them to bite. The water was clear...bass were shallow < 4 ft. No cover present except a few rocks. It looks perfect for smallies to be agressive in the shallows but that was not the case. I need to do some warm water fishing soon to get this funk off me.

Wow ... will they let a kayak enter?
I coulda been in some $$$. ;)
Seriously tho ... let's get out local on the kayaks.
Depends on weather and wind, but I'll stay in touch.
I think we can fix that funk. ;)

G-Man,
Try holding your polarized sunglasses up against the camera lens, so that the camera lens is looking through the sunglasses lens, that works in a pinch when you want to take a pic of something under the water but you're getting glare.
Cheers.
