Are you shore bound or fishing from a boat?

I fished Sun Afternoon, and a couple spots I "always" get fish,
were empty. This area does not fish well on an East wind.
Sun was just that.
Hang in there...

plymouth looks to be in a funk...check out the baymen outfitter reports...pretty spotty action at best, even with live bait...

Fished from Plymouth Beach through homewaters of Duxbury Bay last weekend. Live lining friends report little action same day...almost a sure thing if fish around. We did have fun fishing flats in 1-2 feet of water with flyrods..lots of fish but not showing. Largest was 27" Fish are there but landlocked is difficult.

Funny thing in Duxbury/Plymouth..things can change literally overnight.

Glad you got into some fish. We managed a few in the bay as well. Man that was some thick fog!

I was out at a regular spot on saturday am, the fog was nuts! It cleared a bit right around high tide, and soon after there was some pretty good surface action in the exact same spot I was seeing it last fall when the harbor was loaded with pogies. So I'm guessing they are back. I couldn't get any of them to bite though, so it could have been anything.

tclprin, mind shooting me a pm about those flats? I haven't been back out there in a while due to a broken flyrod, but it should be back soon and I hope to get out on the water with it next weekend. My attempts at local sight-fishing so far haven't been too successful though.

i too the kids to the beach yesterday and threw my line in with a slug-go, i had caught no fish but i saw 2 fish follow it in then turn away when it got close...so i know they are out there...i wish i had some eels with me then!

I am also just starting out. I live in Kingston, just north of Plymouth. Any advice on fishing from shore in the Dux, Kingston, Plymouth area is much appreciated. Will keep you posted if I find anything :)

I have also heard it's been slow. I am having a hard time finding any place to go from shore. Not sure about being able to get on the beach at night without town stickers.
