I am looking into purchasing a wading top that is waterproof. I have seen and heard about Aquaskins. Does ayone have any experience with them? Where were they purchased? Models, Cost? Satisfaction? Versatility?

Are there other brands you guys would recommend?

There are Aquaskins, which are a spandex scuba/snorkel diving garment which are NOT waterproof or offer minimal insulation either alone or under a wetsuit....
OR
Aquaskinz, which are a breathble, waterproof more-or-less convntional coat garment. I assume you mean the latter?

Google Aquaskinz to reach their website. Otherwise can't help you. Never heard of them until now.

I was given a Hurricane top. from a freind that bought one to big.

I have only worn it a few times because I'm usually to warm in it.

When I'm in so-co I prefer a wading jacket or my kayak dry top, double belted with my breathables. I've taken the "plunge" and stayed dry while trying to get back on my rock while wearing both.

the question you have to ask is it for warmth or to stay dry?
some of the non neoprene might be more what your looking for.
Aquaskins makes nice stuff but it's big $$

just my 2 cents.
