12 wt. St. Croix for sale

Tendonitis and rotator cuff issues have made it apparent that flyfishing with big rods just isn't gonna happen anymore.

I'm selling a barely used St. Croix Ultra Legend 12 wt. (pre-IPC) with a Redington AL 11/12 reel. Both are mint. Also included are a NIB Airflo SW Cold intermediate, a NIB SA Mastery floating tarpon taper, and a pair of floating lines (one clear and one orange, brand unknown).

Does this model of St. Croix have a fore grip........above the reel seat?

It does not. However, I picked up a Hypalon grip that's the right diameter for the blank, and slit it lengthwise so that it could be used as one. FWIW, when I talked to the St. Croix rep about it a couple of years ago, he said that he personally didn't like foregrips on rods- thought that they made it more likely that users would put too much force higher up on the blank...
