View Full Version : Cuttyhunk from the Shore?

I'm heading to Cuttyhunk for the week next week and I'm wondering if anyone has experience fishing from the shore from the island. I've been there a couple times before, all really before I got into fishing. It is a pretty small island and looking at the charts it seems like there are some spots worth trying. I'm just not super sure about accessibility with some land being private and what-not. If anyone has any suggestions or is willing to share some general information about fishing the island I would be greatly appreciative. Feel free to PM if you'd prefer.

Fall and Spring fishing on the hunk is wide open... can't think of a spot that you can't fish from! Summer may be a bit more restricted but there will be a ton of spots to fish from shore. The one suggestion that I would make is to fish in the very early morning (o dark thirty) if bass are the target. Day bass fishing during the summer could be a very frustrating. Enjoy- great fishie island!
