After putting in my family time today I headed out to look for a few late season fish.
I have been neglecting my fly rods for a while so I decided to only carry my 6 and 10 weight. After loading up the truck I headed to a spot I knew held fish (as of Thursday). When I got there the Stripers were occaisionally popping and after a few casts I got a 20 incher.
Over the next two hours I caught a dozen and a half schoolies, the last one was the largest at about 25 inches. I never even cast the 10 weight tonight.
Temp was 31 when I got back to the truck.
