Any users out there? Opinions appreciated. In particular the 50-80 hp class from 2001-2004.
Thanks.

I believe they and Tohatsu are absolutely the BEST made and reliable OBs made today in my opinion. And that goes from their smallest to their largest. If they made a large HP V6 ... I'd have one! Bulletproof and I've never seen one not start on the 1st pull or turn of the key.

i gutted a boat with a 70hp from the early 90s that hadn't run in years, was most likely not winterized, and had god knows what fuel of a similiar vintage with an interesting not-gasoline smell.... well before ripping it off the transom i hotwired that SOB and the first sparkspark of the wires it started right up like a champ.
we always made fun of them growing up but for a midsize engine they seem to have good reps.
