False Albacore

False albies are running near shore from Sarasota to Boca Grande. Ron Whiteley and I caught two yesterday on fly. One was 12 lbs. and the other 10 lbs. Ron's came to an Estaz marabou and mine on a Crease fly popper. Lots of fun.

Any reports of them down by Sanibel or Captiva? I am heading down that way next week.

This morning they were just about a mile off the beach on the south end of Boca Grande, so I can only imagine that they are a little south towards Sanibel and Captiva...
