Hello , My Name is Mike Nordman and im 19 years old. I Have recently moved to daytona beach from Connecticut .the reason is beacuse I have the dream of one day Being a Florida fishing guide. I have been fishing since i could remember and think of it as a life style not just a hobby. Most anglers Learn fishing skills from there fathers , brothers, or some relative. I don't have that luxury , Everything that I know about fishing Has been from Countless hours of research & reading , fishing forums , and Tagging along with any fisherman willing to teach me . I love to learn how to fish as much as I love catching fish. I want as much knowledge as I can get to hopefully Become a guide. I'm especially Interested in fly fishing , I just recently starting fly fishing in CT i caught alot of Bass and some trout , I love the challenge. I would love to learn everything about saltwater fly fishing including tying my own flies. The only Saltwater experience i have is Surf Casting for strippers, but I want to do it all. I dont have any money right now , so im looking for a experienced fisherman , ideally a capt. around the mosquito lagoon area to take me under there wing and teach me everything that they know not for moment but because they love what they do and want to share it.
