View Full Version : Bow Casting Rail

I saw the bow casting rail on "Whisky Dick's" Jones Bros. and thought I would add a pic of mine and ask others to chime in. My rail is about 6" too high so it will be cut down this winter. The support holes and the rails are the same distance apart as the rod holders on the console leaning post so the rail can be removed and mounted on the leaning post to get it out of the way if needed. Sorry for the poor image quality this pic was taken with the phone camera.

That's an interesting idea to consider aft leaning post compatibility. I'll pm you separately with some Seacraft-specific questions. I saw the Jones Brothers model a while back, wondered about installing one on my Seacraft, and contacted them. If you're thinking of getting a quote, best be sitting down when you do!

Strat - The boat is a 1986 20' Seacraft with a 2005 4-stroke 150 hp Yamaha.
