Abacos near shore fishing

I'll be on Lubbers Quarters in the Abacos in April and will have the use of a 23' center console boat. Of course, I'll be hitting whatever flats I can find, but am looking for advice and other's experience with fishing other than on the flats. All the cottage owner told was to bring some Yo-Zuri lures. I think that I will not be allowed to take the boat out past the Atlantic side of the islands.
Anybody been there & done that?

Yes, we're staying at Dolphin House at Sea Level cottages.
