well 2009 is here...I have been busy on the water...lots of cold and windy days which makes it tough...there are still fish to be had but it takes more work...redfish are the staple right now for me...bones are iffy but sometimes outstanding...as usual the dread is culling out the big ones...here are a couple photos but not as many as usual...I have been trying to do video and they suck really bad so several fish didnt get a picture taken

Thanks for posting. I'll be fishing Flamingo the 27th and 28th and then heading over there for a day. Never fished for bones...so it should be trying. I'll have the yak.

the bay is on fire!!! permit are back big time and they are mogens...seeing everything that swims and lots of them...today the heavens opened up with bones on bones...I would say I seen 1000 bones today alone in 3 hrs...also removed my 1st fly from customers arm...had to cut it out with a knife point...it was worse on me than him but we were fishing in 5 minutes...backout in the morning to take advantage of high 80's and glassy water...sweet
