Ice fishing

I hope to be icefishing on the cape this weekend. I'll first check out Wequaquet and fish there if safe. There is not safe, I'll try Hathaway pond.

By the way, anyone know for certain whether the Upper Cape Ponds (Peters, Mash-Wake, etc.)survived the brief thaw today and are still safe?

hey Bob, I fished in Lunenburg with a buddy today and cut 9 holes through 14-16 inches of ice, nearly the whole length of the auger. Unless it's been 90 degrees on the cape this week I don't think you'l have any problem with ice
