Well I don't post here very often, but check the site almost daily, great info as always.
i haven't been to the salt since the November before last, to Eleuthera for the second time.
Today it's official, I'M GOING TO VIEQUES in April!!
tickets are purchased car is on hold, just narrowing a couple of houses down, my girl wants a pool!!!!!
I've read and re-read every thread and everything on the internet I can find. Now I have 2 months of cold left here in wyoming, time to tie flies and try to get rid of a jelly roll I recently found around my mid section!

RD- Good for you I have spent alot of time there. If you don't have a guide booked yet PM me and I'll shoot you some info...you really want a guide to get ot the bonefish/permit flats. As more of the island opens it will be easier to get to some fishing areas, right now lots of the roads are still closed and you need a boat to get to the fish. There are places to fish on your own I'll also shoot a "special" place that you can catch tarpon wading --125-3.
Have a great trip and post us up a report when you get back.

Vieques is a great place. Very laid back atmoshphere.

Checkout Capt. Gregg Mckee's website http://www.wildflycharters.com/. Lots of good info on the area.

I have fished with Gregg and Capt. Franco Gonzalez. Both are excellent guides. There is also a new deepwater operation, Amity Charters. I haven't fished with him yet.

Enjoy your trip! I'll be there in May.
