Looks like 2 of us to somewhere in mid march. Will probably charter guides. Looked at boat rental for inshore and after adding it up it is not much more money and will definitely hit more fish.
Thought of doing two days in South florida. a day halfway between the next stop and two days in New Orleans area. Any input on that?
Flying jet blue out of boston. to Ft lauder. and New orleans back. Like the seats and the price aint bad!
Is booking a 5 day week with someone gonna get me a better rate and what if the fishing/weather/ boat/etc sucks? Last year did the keys one day and the weather was awful but drove north out of the worst of it and got lucky and found a decent last minute guide.
I get one trip a year if I'm lucky and any help is appreciatted. I know I want it all but so far got the budget down to Just over 4k including daily guides meals flight and lodging for two at one location. Anyone know where we can do this for the same or less and catch a variety of fish. No trophies or tournaments just a good time fishing is the priority not the rooms or gourmet dining.
Apologies for the length and anyone down south needs a northern fishing trip I have pretty a spare studio 45 minutes to the ocean and 20 minutes to lake winni and a boat.
