Marco In March

Guys,
Spending a few days in Marco in early march and want to hit the beaches in the AM. If the weather holds will there be any fish on the beaches or will they still be in backcountry?

Since I'm with the family I'll have very limited time to explore so any idea of where to fish (not specific just areas) would be a big help. I have fished Tigertail and will definately be going back there. have never fished the canals but have always wondered if there were fish back there.
