what do you think about grews pond in falmouth will it be open or
iced over, hows the trout fishing thinking about breaking out the belly
boat this weekend. thanks for any info

Open water, most cape ice was thin and open shore lines last sunday.

I haven't yet been down there myself but I was considering going next weekend weather permitting and I was wondering if you could just let me know how it went for you to see if its worth my time or not thanks.

Grews Pond is on the list of places to try this spring. I've been on the Cape for over 30 years, and I've never tried it yet.(#$119)

Grews is a good pond in the Spring before summer cause in the summer people are swimming so I try to get there as early as possible hopefully next weekend if weather and the fish permit let me know how it goes

the gate was locked at noon time just figured the park was closed for the
season and was on a time schedule so I didn't bother to venture in. this is definatley good early spot for trout and smallmouth bass I have done alright before

10-15 years ago Grews pond used to be a great pond....Ever since I started seeing it's name in local fishing reports posted online, it's been absolutely pummeled with people and not fished the same. The fish are smaller, and I haven't seen any big holdovers come out. It's too bad, because it has a high % of trout water. Luckily there are about 20-30 other ponds to fish. I would try a different pond, but that's just me...
