Fished with Big Charlie at Behring point a few weeks ago, the wind was extreme for the first two days, such that one of my friends who has bad knees could not stand on the deck, so I got to cast and hook the fish and let him land them. The third day was windy but not unfishable and I did get the fish in the attachment.[ 11 !/2lb on the boga for the sceptics] We did not see any huge fish this time. On the last day conditions were perfect and we went to the west side which as usual was bonefish heaven. Looked for tarpon in Cabbage creek but no one home, we did see some in Loggerhead creek on the way out though.

Pretty tough to be skeptical about that fish! You could have said 13 and I wouldn't have had a problem :p
Thanks for the report.

I fished w/ Charlie in 2006 and 2007. Awesome guide. Were you at his new lodge? Sweet fish, by the way.

Charlie and his wife Fatiha are now in their own lodge at Cargill creek and can accommodate 8 fishers, they have been and are still working diligently on the landscaping. When all the shrubs mature that they have planted the place will be beautiful. I can't wait to back for tarpon in June.
