Any fish around?

I'll be coming down to the Sunken Meadow area next week and wondered if it's worth bring a rod down. Any schoolies showing? FishHawk

You can always try but I think it's too early. Just getting slight whispers of bass possibly stirring in Little Neck Bay.

I took a lightweight spinning rod and hurled 1/8 ounce bucktails along with a small skimmer jig to no avail.

Still is rather cold.

I will start dusting off the fly gear.
