Spring break Fishing options

Hey guys I am on spring break this week and I was hoping to get out and do some fresh water fishing. I was hoping to go to the farmington river to do some trout fishing but the water is a little high so I am hoping it drops down by the end of the week so I can head down there.
But are there any other fisheries in mass or RI that would be good bets ? I have never caught a pike and was thinking of heading down to wordens pond or someplace and give that a try. is it to early in the year for that ? or would it be a good time to try?

Try the Cape trout ponds, especially those stocked in both the spring and fall. I got a limit in a couple hours last weekend. I probably should have stayed around for spring break and saved some money for tuna season, but instead im headed to daytona with 9 friends.. lets hope I make it back..
