The Swift River is running at 550 cfs today, I guess if you could not fish it then maybe a little White Water rafting is in order.

That River must be cranking right now.

There's only one max flow for that gage higher than today's value during the period 1998-2005. In other words, yes, its high.

What site are you guys obtaining that data from? I'd like to get it please.;)

I drove past the Veteran's Bridge in Hardwick the other day, and the water was flooded up past the cornfields and beyond.

has a network of gages- with flows available for every state. You can view the MA gage map here: http://water.usgs.gov/waterwatch/?m=real&r=ma&w=map

Mouse over each on eof the dots and it will give you the current conditions. LCick on a dot to bring up a little window- in that window you can click on teh highlighted gage # and it will take you to a stats page where you can get daily stream data, historicla data, and more.

A vital and important fishing resource, unless you live right next to the stream!

Have fun
