I just tried a Michigan Wheel Rapture ss prop with the same diameter and pitch as my stock aluminum prop on 2-cycle Yamaha 90. The boat is a Carolina Skiff 175 Sea Chaser, cica 2003. The Rapture prop dropped WOT by 1000 rpms and matched, if not increased, mph. It barely came out of the hole to plane out, stuck at 3000 rpm WOT until it began planning out to 4500 rpm WOT. Am I stuck with Yamaha's ss prop due to difference in prop design, or is there an aftermarket ss prop that will work?
