I will be visiting Antigua for the first time at the end of April, staying at Carlisle Bay. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to fish or guides to use. The hotel told me that they would set me up with a bonefish guide (I presume fishing Barbuda where I know there are bones). I was told I can fish the beach or from a kayak at the hotel. However, I don't know whether that is a good spot, although I'm sure my wife can catch jacks and cudas with a spinning rod there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Google Phil's Ecofishing Antigua. He guides on Antigua. There are bones, tarpon and permit around. I haven't been there but I researched it as a side trip when I go to visit family in Barbados (no decent flyfishing in Barbados)next year. I talked to him on the phone and he seemed to know what he was talking about and I found quite a few threads from people who have fished with him. Please email me after your trip so I can know how it went.
