Looking for opinions on Scout Boats

A friend is looking to purchase one. I have never been a big fan, but maybe I am wrong.

Anyone run one, know some that has one...

Grandparents have had a 14' scout in Florida for what seems like forever. Love the little guy. No complaints and I personally would look into them based on the esperience with this one.

No first hand experience with the bigger boys though. I know my one complaint from the boat show was that the rocket launchers were lower than normal and I'd wack my head on them.

I believe a couple of members here including myself own a Scout. I've had my 242 Abaco for 3 years and 400 hours and can answer your questions.

Fire Fly...come on, 400 hours in 3 years...you're short about 500 hours...stop working so much.

Scout is a great manufacturer and the boats are as attractive as they come.

Buy boat...go fishing.

Kev - I plan to make up for that this year but doubt I'll be able to make dent in what you do OTW. Good luck with the transom rebuild - your updates are something to look forward to each Monday morning.
