Did a search and the info on PV is a few years old at this point so thought I'd throw out a new line to see if there are any updates:

Heading down in mid May. can anyone recommend a good guide? Hope to fly-fish primarily but if conditions aren't right, just want to catch fish.

Anyone to stay away from?

Thanks

I was down, there. Interesting little town. Decent amount of guides, I had heard horror stories of poor guides. There is a guy Chuy Cruz. He is from PV, he has fly fishing experience. He worked up in Alaska for many years. Very nice guy, he understands what a Fly guy is looking for, and has a great knowledge of the are. He has some basic fly stuff, I think the biggest he had was a 8WT. You'll want to bring your own stuff. Good guy and certainly a character to say the least. His Boat name is DAMIFINO II. Small little boat, @20 feet, but gets the job done. I'll PM you his contact info.
