Fished Manhasset and Little Neck Bays Friday morning, April 17. Saw some bunker in Manhasset, a positive early sign. One of the bait guys pulled in a pretty nice bass. I had no luck on fly in either place. Tide could have been better, I think. In any event, a nice first morning on the water, and it felt good to shake some rust off of the casting stroke.
