would like a inexpensive conventional reel for new casting rod.

interested in the Okuma Solterra SLR-15cs model or Titus-T20/30.

from pics and reading they look like wold fit the rod pretty good.

there's a few abu models out there also would suffice.

email or im if anybody interested in selling something just sitting around.

thank you

For Reel info suggest you go to the Bass Fishing Home Page. Go into the Rod and Reel section and ask your ??? there.

There are a number of fairly inexpensive SW reels but, you didn't say what type of fishing you want to do. My suggestion would be to take your rod and go to a "good" SW bait & tackle. I realize you have none in your area but, take a ride. Go to Surf Land on Plum Island or Red Top in Bourne. Show them what you have and ask their advice. Tell them you want to buy an inexpensive reel for your type of SW fishing and have them mount the line too.

You will get good advice from either shop, quality reel for the $ spent and a source of good SW fishing advice for future trips. Something you probably won't get from a big box store - even if the guy who sells you the rod still works there next time you visit.

I only mention Red Top and Surf Land because I am very familiar with both. There are many other good SW shops along the coast. Pick one in the area you plan to fish.
