Why don't my posts appear?

I made a post in the Florida forum but it didn't show up..

Because as a new poster, your post go into a spam buffer, until a moderator gets a chance to review it. (This is mentioned in some form on the registration page). Being the weekend there can be a longer delay since most of the moderators are not at their day jobs with their computers, They are out fishing.

Once you have reached 10 posts, they no longer go to the spam buffer.
