Looking to part with a very nice LA Battenkill V and extra spool to buy a new spinning rod.

Barely used and never near saltwater. A few minor scuffs and otherwise perfect condition. These are the nicer "Made in England" reels/spools not the cheaper China stuff. These are hard to find as collectors are hanging on to them. Backed by Orvis "anytime 100% satisfaction guarantee". Current pricing for this set up is $378.

Haven't been overly impressed with Fenwick fly rods even though they have some nice ones, but maybe the spinning rods are in the same class as GLoomis; which make very good fly rods. For most inshore: just Shimano rods having lifetime replacement paired with Shimano reels & offshore mostly Penn because other rods are not as easy to replace
