Has anyone "joined" Enrico's website and seen any of the tying videos? Any good?

Funny you mentioned it. I checked out his site the other night and couldn't believe he was charging for access. What a joke.

There's plenty of free information on this site without having to join his. There is no 'secret' to how he ties his flies so I guess I don't understand what he's charging for. Kind of looks like the web 1.0 business model. In my opinion, I think he's better off coordinating with some advertisers than charging $20 per user but then again, I'm tight with the shekels these days.

utter BS. talk about a **** poorsales/marketing plan. his materials are tough enuff to tie with and he wants to charge you to learn how to tie with em????

I did join and think he did an excellent job. Very informative content with professional quality video - well worth the membership fee.

I agree with Uno. he does have some excellent videos. They are not just 5 or 10 min videos. They are 40 min+ And you would be suprised at some of the little tricks and process's he uses to tie his flies. Hell we buy $700 rods and reels but $20 bucks is too much for a year? A whole 5 cents a day. WooHoo.(#$119)

Uno is correct. Videos are very good. 30-40 minutes and a new one each month

I don't have any problem tying with his materials. Actually I think it is a good marketing plan. The $20 let's you order direct through him. Yeah the prices are the same but I don't have to wait for my local shop to put an order together as they don't just want to order 2 or 3 items when I want. Wish I could do that with Wapsi, Spirit River, Natures Spirit, etc, etc,.
