Surf fishing in Eleuthera

Will be vactioning in Eleuthera, Bahamas in Nov. Does anyone know if surf casting is productive in this area. If so what type of artifical bait works. I will be staying on Double Bay Beach.

I've seen everything from cobia to sharks to bonefish on the beaches of Double Bay. There's some grouper around the coral heads as well. Swimmers like Yozuri crystal minnows, poppers etc. Make sure you lock the house completely when you leave and when you go to bed, last year there were a few illegal entries while I was there. If you have a car there's plenty of bonefish flats within a reasonable drive.
