I too am having issues w/ the Rio lines and would like to pick up some of the airflo lines folks seem to really like. The only detail mention is it is blue...

So what is the model of the line you are using for chasing the hardtails?

thanks!

Fell in love with the Airflow Cold Saltwater Ridgeline intermediate in the last two seasons. I can'r stand Rio running lines. Same with Teeny. Should call it Jim Tangley.

The intermediate ridge is awesome. Almost never get a tangle and cast better than any rio line i have used. Good luck...Tight lines, Bob

It is called the Air-Flo Polyfuse XT Clear Blue and it now comes with the what they call the Ridge Line. That is about the best way I can describe it to you.

It is Blue and is awesome and you won't be sorry.

Cortland Little Tunny intermediate line is the choice of knowing anglers. It's been around for years - that should tell the story.

Still ain't seeing it on the Air flo site.

Choices are (I think) Striper http://www.flylines.com/Flylines_AirfloFlylineRange_Saltwater_Striper.cfm

or 40 + http://www.flylines.com/Flylines_AirfloFlylineRange_FortyPlus_Saltwater.cf m

Which one?

Your first link is correct. The 40+ I don't like at all. Here is another link to what you want. It is the first line on the link" http://www.bearsden.com/page491.html

Little Tunny best for clear. But even better (and better by far than all) is: Airflow, Cold Saltwater, Ridge Striper Int. with power core. 105 feet.

As stated earlier your first link is correct, and like I said it was the Polyfuse Xt Clear Blue and is called the cold water. The original line was awesome and still is, I have 3 one 10 and two 9wts. The newer line is the same except for the ridge section. The say is helps in casting distance, If you get one you won't be sorry.
