My buddy was down on the coast this afternoon killing a few minutes and watched a dude land a 40"+ fish (on a lure). He snapped a few pics - I will try to post when I get them. This angler said that yesterday the fish were busting all over but they were smaller. Today, little surface action but bigger fish were hanging in the rocks.
