cod fishing regs

I know this has been asked before but I could not find it. Want to run out Thursday. So it is 2 cod per boat if I am launching north of Cape no matter what or can I run out past x point and not stop to fish somewhere on the way back?

So far it looks like me and my father in law on a 20 ft Starcraft CC if someone wants to hitch a ride. Will be keeping an eye out for tuna but need to restock a basement freezer that died quietly one night. Will probably run out of Rockport but flexible. Cape run is just too far from Nh.

It's two fish per person, 75 lb's per boat in MA state waters (inside the 3 mile line).

Outside the three mile line (federal waters) you can't keep any cod.
