I was wondering if anyone knows where I can put a 14' boat in the water around the Cotuit area?

Two places. The better question is "Where can I launch a boat and park my car without getting a ticket."

Old Shore Road in Cotuit has an unpaved ramp at the foot of the hill. Old Shore is off of Main Street. Heading into town from Route 28, driving south, when you pass the Cotuit Grocery Company, Old Shore will be the first road on the left.

You need a Barnstable beach sticker. Police vigilance steps up beginning this weekend.

Then there is Prince's Cove in Marstons Mills. Route 28, intersection with Route 149 at the herring run. Lots of people launch on the paved ramp -- next to the marina -- then drive back out to 28 and stash their car and trailer on the corner of Prince and Rte 28

Good luck

There is also one in Osterville off Bay rd.

Take a hard right when you get to village and follow Bay rd to the end. This would put you at West Bay
