I was in the hogy booth on sunday. The most popular product seemed to be the hogy darter head--mostly for the tuna crew. Having a real hook on a jighead is an innovative idea and the 2 oz size was sold out at all the booths in the show.

I got one of Joe's carp prints--that was the best thing I brought home from the show!!

The beautiful weather, the NCAA hoops deal and $30 parking really took the starch out of that show from an attendance standpoint. Seemed real light according to past vendors with whom I spoke. Maurader fishing gear had some good stuff, Hogy's was good as always...

I was there Saturday midday. Light turn out.
Picked up a Guy Cotton dry top. Good first impression of quality, but we'll see how it performs on some sloppy mornings.
Was hoping to see the guy who had all the rod blanks last year but he was not there.
Had my 5 year old son with me. He was more excited about the stuffed animal sea turtle and package of Hogys (he plays with them in the tub).

As a vendor the Sunday turn out was much better than Saturday.

Went Friday. Seemed like a good turnout.

Got Stryper had some nice new colors. Hogy new stuff looks really nice (colors and new rigging options). Picked up some of RI Poppers new tuna plugs. Every vendor was willing to take additional $ off.

Average Joe from this site had some great decals i bought.

Best part was spending some time with Patrick Sebile who showed me some innovative methods to re-rig some of his lures. Also, Capt Andrew Cummings was full of great info...seems like a great guy and captain.

Only you, CMP, could twist a post about RISSA into a flame operation with that cutesy kicker.

whats your point? how is his comment a flame operation? do elaborate...

$30 parking

Don't know where or when you parked, but Saturday I parked in the South Garage at the Convention Center for $10.00 (flat rate for the event). I got there about 10:45 AM and there was still plenty of parking available.

what did you think of the speakers, I was hoping for mike Laptew or Captain jim white, to speak?????

I did not go to any speaker presentations. The best part of these shows is you can gain a ton of information with one on one conversations.

I have seen Laptew speak and he is really interesting. Jim White.....my mother always told me that if you do not have anything nice to say....

is it true that a fish tank let go at the show(#$119)(#$119)(#$119)(#$119)

I dropped in on the yak presentations because I know one of the presenters. Very experienced/accomplished fisherman, but his audience was the average guy with little yakking experience so he had to tone it down.

is it true that a fish tank let go at the show(#$119)(#$119)(#$119)(#$119)

It was a casting tank and Patrick Sebile was going to demo some of his lures.

My brother had a booth there this year and he said he was very impressed with the show. He was exhausted when he got home. Kinda wish I went now...

He had table displaying part of his vintage lure collection.
