Anyone encounter any macks in the Boston Harbor yet? If the weather breaks I'm gonna fish the area Sunday and want to see if it's worth my effort to try and fill up my livewell. Thanks!

I was able to jig up some macs last Sunday on the SS. Not in any great numbers, but they are there. A few other boats around me were successful as well. Mostly single hook-ups, with the rare double. I'll be searching for them again tomorrow.

What time of day have you been heading out? Weekdays are pretty tough to get out w/ daylight, and by the time I'm home from work, no one wants to head out, well, besides my fiancee. She doesnt mind the fishing, but wants to bring the dog, grill, etc.
I need new friends.
im heading out early saturday morning near graves to give a shot

I hate to ask but what kind of cat food? Do they have a preferred type?

bringing out the cat food reminds of crabbing with my mom back in the day, works for tons of stuff in the sea i've found

Cat food also makes good flounder chum. Punch some holes in the top and bottom of the can(s) and stick it in a chum bag tied to your anchor rode.
