It seems that there's nothing else much besides these two species of fish in the harbor. Has anyone caught anything else besides these guys? I've seen reports of catches of Cod on the outer limits of the harbor and perhaps a flounder or tautog.

I'm just wondering since I'm going out with a friend on Monday -> If things are slow what else can we go for to keep ourselves entertained?

We usually plug for a while at some known spots for schoolies and switch over to chunking for the bigger guys by the airport when the sun is high.

Any other suggestions?

My son caught a cod out near Boston Light last week. I caught a mackerel by the Graves last month. Now you have the extent of my non-striper/bluefish experience in Boston. Like you, I would like to know if there are spots for other species.

it is probably to late for cod or macks in the harbor. Flounder have been reported to be good this year at Peddocks and Georges. I hear reports of Tautog in the harbor. Need rocky bottom and green crabs for success. This would be real experimental. Nobody who has found these fish are going to tell you about it.
