I am looking for info on fishing boston harbor and harbor islands, boat ramps, and any other advice for someone with a 20ft boat....thank you Karl

the reason that 8o people have read your post and not responded is the sheer magnitude of the task. There is a ramp in Winthrop that I use and several on the south shore. I don't know the location of those. These days there can be fish anywhere that looks fishy and none at all. Get a good chart, ask at some tackle shops. Ramp locations can be obtained from the public access board. there are flats off of deer island and the airport. Boulder fields around all the harbor islands. These days you are going to have to do a lot of exploring to find fish.

<P>Get a copy of the Mass DMF booklet - it has a list of all the launching points (as well as peirs, public access, etc.) in MA. It obviously went to print too early to get the last-minute 30" decision, but they all have a sticker on the front proclaiming the 30" rule.</P>
