I wonder how long it will take for this to get cleaned up. Mother nature has a way doing her thing. That storm really riled up the water, could not see my feet when I was in up to my knees.

Up until a day ago or so, the Canal was full of it too, especially on an E tide. It seems to have mostly cleaned up as of this AM, hopefully the beaches as well.

Unfortunately, looks like we have three potential tropical storms/hurricanes way out in the Atlantic that could mess things up again late next week. It's that time of year.

I fished the corner of that beach last evening up against the jetty, had to wade out to my knees to find clean water and didn't get a hit.

As a kid I recall the state cleaned public beachs of seaweed after a big storm.

I would not expect and quite frankly would be surprised that the people at this state park would do anything to clean the beach, after all it's only going to be the last week big weekend before the summer vacation season comes to an end.

They will still charge however to get in, you can bet on that !
